Kodaikanal Lake
Kodaikanal Lake is a star-shaped man-made lake and one of the main attractions in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu. It was created in 1863 by Sir Vere Henry Levinge, the then Collector of Madurai, and has since become the heart of the town.
The lake offers various boating options, including rowboats, pedal boats, and motorboats, making it a popular activity for visitors.
The 5-kilometer path around the lake is perfect for cycling, walking, and horse riding, providing scenic views of the surrounding hills and greenery.
