The lake is located at the old site of Fort Hamilton, and there's a 100-year-old brick building that's worth a visit. To visit Berijam Lake, you'll need a forest pass, which can be obtained from the District Forest Office in Kodaikanal. Only a limited number of visitors are allowed each day.
